# Cleaner, simpler configurator: one name per tool, fractions everywhere

> We tidied up the Sunscape configurator: fewer duplicate buttons, one name for each tool, measurements in feet, inches and fractions, and windows that fit your phone.

This update is all about making the configurator easier to read and quicker to use.

### One name for each tool

Each tool now has one name everywhere you see it: **Designs**, **Save picture**, **Fire up grills**, **Graphics** and **Help**. Buttons that appeared in two or three places now appear once, and the 2D planner has a single **Elevations** button. Open the elevation strip, then expand it to full screen from its corner.

### Measurements the way builders read them

Every size now shows in feet, inches and fractions, like **2′ 4-1/4″**, including the catalog cards, the hover cards and the elevation labels.

### Small things that add up

- Doors and lids open with one tap and close with the next.

- In 3D, the settings panel now shows the estimate, just like 2D.

- Look options have plain names: Finished, Plain white and Lines.

- Windows fit iPhone and Android screens and scroll when they're long.

- When the configurator sits in a narrow column on a dealer's website, it switches to the phone layout to fit.

- If something can't be saved, renamed or deleted, the configurator now tells you instead of looking like it worked.
