Masonry, steel stud or welded frame: shaping custom islands

Stainless cabinet runs are quick to plan. Custom islands — masonry, steel stud or a welded frame — can follow any shape. Sunscape handles both.

Pick the build type

Each build type has its own framing allowances, so appliances are spaced the way that kind of island is actually built. The estimate prices each type per linear foot.

Shape it by dragging

Select an island and drag its ends. Turn at 90°, 45° or 30°, go free-form, or curve the run. Appliances and components stay set into the island as it changes.

Add features

From the island design strip: a raised bar, a rounded or curved bar, a social bar with seating, a round end that can rise to bar height with an overhang that sweeps back to the counter edge, a bar table, a fireplace, a pizza oven, a fire pit or a linear fire, and a seating ledge.

Finishes

Choose the wall finish — stucco, stacked stone, ledgestone, dry stack, brick and more — and the countertop, from the texture library.
