Privacy policy

This policy explains what Sunscape collects, why, and the choices you have. Sunscape (also known as Sunscape.AI and Sunscape Design Studio) is operated by Sunstone Metal Products, 16004 Central Commerce Dr., Pflugerville, TX 78660. Questions: 888-934-9449.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email, company, phone and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google or another provider, we receive your name, email and profile picture from it.
• Your designs and files — layouts, saved designs, renders, snapshots, drawings and photos you upload, customer profiles you create, and links you share.
• Orders and plans — what you buy or subscribe to, billing and shipping addresses, and payment status. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
• Messages — quote requests, contact and dealer forms, feedback you send from the configurator, and conversations with our virtual assistant.
• Usage — pages visited, features used, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and referral codes from affiliate links.

How we use it

• To run your account, save your work and let you return to it on any device.
• To price designs, send quotes, process orders and subscriptions, and provide support.
• To create AI Renders and read photos or drawings you ask us to read.
• To credit affiliates for the members and sales they refer.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve the configurators.
• To send emails about your account, orders and quotes. Marketing emails are sent only if you agree, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Photos and AI Render

When you use AI Render or ask us to read a photo or drawing, the image and a description of your design are sent to the image service that produces the result. Those services process the image to return your picture and are not permitted to use it to identify you. Don't upload photos of people who haven't agreed to it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run the site for us — hosting, storage, email delivery, payment processing and AI image services — under agreements that limit their use of it.
• A Sunstone dealer, when you send a quote or design to that dealer or open the configurator on a dealer's site.
• An affiliate who referred you, limited to your name and whether you joined or bought (never your designs or payment details).
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and settings, record affiliate referrals, and count visits. We don't use advertising cookies. Blocking cookies may stop sign-in and the cart from working.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and designs while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete your designs and files within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons (such as orders and invoices).

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your details and delete designs from Your Sunscape at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by calling 888-934-9449 or writing to the address above. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have further rights; we will honor them and won't treat you differently for using them.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.

Children

Sunscape is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and tell you by email or on the site if the change is significant.
